Sustainability & SDG Impact

Farming that gives
more than it takes.

Every CoAgri project is designed around a closed loop — where land, water, and soil are treated as capital to be grown, not consumed.

Water-Conscious Irrigation

Drip and sprinkler systems on every farm. Sikar pilot uses treated STP water — turning urban wastewater into agricultural input, closing the water loop.

The Problem We Solve

India has 140 million farms.
How many are professionally managed?

The gap between India's agricultural potential and its actual output is not a resource problem — it is a management and market access problem.

01

Land Sitting Idle

Millions of acres lie fallow or underperforming because owners — NRIs, retirees, urban professionals — have no means to manage them remotely. Good land, zero output.

  • No professional farm management infrastructure
  • Absentee landowners with no farming knowledge
  • Productive land generating zero income for families
02

No Professional Farm Managers

India graduates 60,000+ agriculture students annually. Almost none end up managing farms. The knowledge exists — the deployment infrastructure does not.

  • Agri graduates unemployed or working in unrelated fields
  • Traditional farmers operating on intuition, not science
  • No structured career path in professional farm management
03

Unpredictable Markets & Price Volatility

Farmers have no way to predict price or demand. They operate on a punishing cycle — two years of losses followed by one year of profit — stretching working capital to the breaking point with no safety net.

  • No forward price visibility before sowing decisions
  • Mandi prices collapse when all farmers harvest simultaneously
  • Input costs rise every year; farm-gate price does not
04

Buyers Have No Reliable Source

FMCG companies, breweries, hotel chains, and Q-Commerce platforms want contracted, traceable, quality-certified supply. Today they stitch it together from dozens of small farmers with no consistency.

  • No single supplier at scale with end-to-end traceability
  • Quality variance makes contracted supply risky
  • Off-season supply gaps disrupt buyer operations

"If agriculture goes wrong, nothing else will have a chance to go right."

How We Solve It

A geographically diverse
network built for certainty.

CoAgri develops a network of self-managed farms alongside partner farmer farms spread across geographically diverse agro-climatic zones — ensuring a robust, predictable supply chain that no single farm or single region can disrupt. Technology and professional management deliver consistent quality at scale.

🏡

Self-Managed Farms

Leased land with CoAgri agronomy graduates as full-time managers. Complete operational control and traceability.

🤝

Partner Farmer Network

Contracted partner farmers operating under CoAgri protocols — multiplying supply without multiplying capex.

🗺️

Geographic Diversity

Multi-zone presence ensures a drought, flood, or pest outbreak in one region never breaks the full supply chain.

📊

Technology & Management

Real-time activity logging, buyer dashboards, and data-backed agronomic decisions ensure predictable quality at every harvest.

Story So Far

From one farm near Jaipur
to a national model.

March 2025 · Season One Begins

First Farm — Cotton near Jaipur

CoAgri launched its first self-managed farm near Jaipur in March 2025 — a cotton project that validated the entire model: professional agronomy management, real-time activity logging, and direct institutional offtake without a single mandi transaction.

2025 · Mid-Year Expansion

1,000 Acres of Cotton Across Four States

The cotton project scaled rapidly across four states, bringing total cotton operations to 1,000 acres through a combination of self-managed and partner farmer farms. Simultaneously, 8 polyhouses were established near Jaipur for year-round exotic vegetable production. Three B2B institutional customers converted to ongoing supply agreements.

2025 · Second Cycle — Expertise Build

Horticulture, Seed Production & Off-Season Crops

In the second agricultural cycle of 2025, CoAgri expanded deliberately into horticulture — experimenting with seed production and off-season specialty crops. The goal: build the agronomic expertise, supply chain relationships, and operational muscle needed for the 2026 national expansion. The foundation is now set.

2026 · National Scale

1,500+ Acres, Four Climatic Zones

In 2026, CoAgri will operate over 1,500 acres across four distinct agro-climatic zones, with a substantially larger partner farmer network expanding total supply footprint further. The geographic diversity of the network ensures supply chain resilience — no single weather event can break the system.
